My Apologies for the Radio Silence

I'm sorry it's been so quiet around here.  My December was pretty much derailed when I found out I was going to have to have my gallbladder taken out! Thankfully it was a laparoscopic procedure and I am recovering well, but it has definitely put a kink in a lot of my sewing and crafting plans!

As Christmas quickly approaches and in light of the awful tragedy that occurred last week in CT, I will be taking a little blog break (okay, I guess I have been already!) to simply enjoy my family and hopefully finish up a few projects.

I plan on returning after the new year with some fun things to share from our December (yes, we're managing to have fun!).  Until then, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
